A:Vandenberg Air force base is not open for the public on a daily basis. If you are interested in exploring the museum or portions of the air force base, you need to sign up for the monthly windshield tour hosted by the 30th Space Wing Public Affairs. This tour is conducted on the third Tuesday of each month and begins at 1:00 p.m. You can also opt for the quarterly tour to Space and Missile Heritage Center that serves as the base museum.
